Finished

The time before – the build up
The time after – thought
In between there is the void
In that void there is me

Anger has caused my hands to bleed
I am so alone in my mind
Staring as the blood becomes
Oval jewels within the cuts

I will not clean them
Not until this is finished

When she was out of sight
I pulled off my hoody
And laid, shivering uncontrollably

Now,
Now I am finished
Now I shall cleanse
